Your journey with us…

We take capturing the largest and probably most expensive dinner party you'll ever host {your wedding!} pretty seriously.

Not only do we want to immortalize all those epic moments but we want to be an asset to you not only on the day; but in the lead up to your wedding celebration!

With a true to tone aesthetic, our photographs will showcase the essence of your wedding day in all its splendour.

FAQ

What is your approach in capturing our unique wedding story?

As photographers we approach your celebration with the mindset of explorers; tuned to unearth hidden gems, capture what is in front of us and coax out what lies beneath. On the day, we are after all tasked with the responsibility to be the poets that artistically paint a picture of your wedding.
On your wedding day we are observers, documenting the priceless moments as they unfold, as well as being creative directors capturing details and timeless portraits in a more curated, guided manner.

What is your pricing?

We’ve learned over the years that every celebration is different and comes with its own set of unique needs. Because of this, we do not only offer a collection of packages but do custom quotes on an individual basis.
That said, investments for elopements start at R11 500 and for weddings at R19 500. Our engagement, boudoir and lifestyle/branding sessions start at R2 800.
We take great care in crafting an experience that suits your needs and celebration and are passionate about unparalleled client services.

Contact us and we can send you a more specific outline of your investment once we know more about your needs.

Where are you based and do you travel?

We are currently at home in an old farmhouse in Mpumalanga, South Africa. We do however service couples in all of Africa, Europe, Turkey and on request worldwide.

When can we expect to receive our wedding photographs?

While we work very hard on the day to get everything right in camera, our post production process is vital to achieve the "Dust and Dreams Photography" look you have booked us for.

Our work is focused on creating a timeless and carefully curated collection of photographs for each of our clietns.
Turnaround times for engagement and portrait sessions average 2-3 weeks. Turnaround times for wedding images are 5-8 weeks.

How many images will we receive?

For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive on average 500+ edited images. We always choose quality over quantity and we'll present you with a beautifully curated collection of images of your wedding day.
For our elopement package and custom quotes we will discuss the amount of images we can deliver with you personally.

What if it rains?

While rain on your wedding day is considered lucky, we know it is probably not what you have hoped for. That said, we have photographed countless weddings where the weather was not 100% favourable and some of our proudest work is from rainy day celebrations. We advise that together with your wedding planner / the venue you have a Plan B in place. Ultimately, on these unique days, this is when our experience come into play.

Do you offer Videography?

We do not offer videography services, however we can delightfully recommend De Villiers from Deep Field Films.

"The highlight of working with Dust and Dreams Photography was their down to earth professionalism!

Everything was perfectly structured without feeling stiff or formal.

There was never a moment where we did not know what was going on, from travel arrangements to the actual delivery of the photos.

When we got our photos they included a small treat for our dogs, who we briefly mentioned and they even remembered their names - this kind gesture goes a long way!

Our photos were stunning!

We asked them to capture the essence of our celebration and it was beyond perfect."
